About Us

I Can Have That! was started in January 2009 by Jane Erickson and Diane Goodman, two women committed to the well-being of their families and friends, and inspired to share their interest in great food.

In late 2006, Jane and her son were diagnosed with celiac disease. Jane researched the disease and made the decision to maintain a gluten free household. One day, her sister remarked that she'd wanted to send a gift basket, but couldn't find one that was gluten free. An idea was born.

Soon after, Jane approached her good friend Diane with the idea. Diane was aware of the many changes necessary to live successfully with a food allergy, intolerance or sensitivity as many of her friends and extended family members were doing just that. She was eager to get involved.

Jane and Diane, both avid cooks, are well aware that living a gluten free or allergy friendly lifestyle need not mean giving up good taste. They know it's possible to live with a food intolerance and still eat delicious food. I Can Have That! gift baskets are full of really good food, and are safe for most persons with food allergies, sensitivities and intolerances. Enjoy!
